Beta Phase Two Ordered
Today, we passed another huge milestone—Beta Phase Two is officially ordered.
What a journey. This marks a major step forward, and it means we’ve sourced everything needed to bring the next generation of Bía masks to life.
Here’s what’s packed inside each one:
The Brains:
- 272 electrical components
- 3 PCB boards
- 7 cables
- 2 batteries
- 2 bone-conduction speakers
- 1 haptic motor
The Comfort:
- Foam
- Fabrics
- Threads
- Silicones
- Plastics
- D-Rings
- Straps
This supply chain spans hundreds of people and partners around the world. All of them are now mobilized and ready to build your Bía Sleep Mask and get it to your doorstep.
We’re finishing a final engineering review this week. In the next update, we’ll be back with firm timelines.
Mass Production
So what does this mean for full-scale production?
With certifications still delayed, we took the opportunity to jump ahead on production-ready tooling. That means the gap between Beta shipping and your mask arriving is getting shorter.

Yes! You can stream your own tracks via Bluetooth or choose from Bía’s built-in Neural Soundscapes.
We explored it early on, but bone-conduction speakers make true noise cancellation tricky. After consulting with top audio engineers, we chose a simpler, more reliable path—use earplugs. They’ll block background noise while still allowing you to hear Bía’s audio clearly.
