We're not your average startup creating another app or bluetooth speaker. We're creating an entirely new type of wearable computer that’s comfortable enough for sleep, yet powerful enough to make an impact. Here's a quick overview of our development cycles:

App: Quick and nimble. Launching new features or bug fixes every few weeks and fixing major bugs within days (sometimes hours!).

Firmware: This software tells our on-board chips how to interact with each other. When managing everything from battery balancing, to sound mixing, to brainwave tracking on-device, updates must be bulletproof. Each change goes through intense testing before it reaches you, often 30-60 days depending on it's impact. 

Hardware: This is the electronics, or brains, inside Bía. Changes take between 60-90 days from design, to manufacturing, to testing. Specialized components (like medical-grade sensors) and flexible PCBs take longer to order while adding complexity. Most importantly, they make our product the best on the market.

Manufacturing: This is where fabric, foam, silicone, plastic, and more are transformed into Bía. Turning our designs into real-world parts requires precise tooling from blocks of steel. Each of our 12 custom parts goes through prototyping cycles that can take up to 60 days each.

Every step must align perfectly. We learned this over the past year with previous delays and now we have powerful systems to manage risks and streamline our workflow.
