Results - Charging Cables & Adapters 🔌
Wow! Big thanks to everyone who filled out the Charging Cable & Adapter survey last week. We'll leave the survey open for one more week just in case you haven't had a chance to fill it out.
- Number of ports: 53% for 3 ports, 40% for 4 ports
- Wall adapter color: 63% for white, 38% for black, 4% for other
- Cable material: 83% for braided, 17% for silicone.
- Cable color: 61% for white, 38% for black.
- Cable length: 38% for 6ft, 29% for 5ft, 18% for 8ft, 15% for 3ft
The loudest feedback for the wall adapter is that it must be compact, able to play nice with other things you may have plugged in, and that it shouldn't easily fall off the wall.
We've decided to check with our manufacturer to find a an adapter that's smaller and doesn't impede other chargers on the power bar. Stay tuned!
As for the cable, durability is the number #1 concern, so we've settled on the white braided 6ft cable.

🏆 We're on schedule! Samples are still expected to be delivered mid-December and certifications are booked throughout January.
🏆 Our pre-seed round is closed! This allows us to accelerate app and firmware development by hiring additional engineers.
🏆 We've made great progress on our audio sub-system! The firmware was giving us quite the headache earlier in the year but we've been able to add all the features Bía needs to be successful - the ability to mix & match up to 4 audio streams from 3 different sources including local storage, algorithmically generated, and (your choice) Bluetooth.
