Our Wins & Learnings

🏆 We've had hundreds of responses to the travel case survey! Thanks again to everyone who has submitted an entry, and if you haven't, it's not too late! Take the travel case survey now.

🏆 We've officially hired an in-house hardware engineer and firmware developer to help us accelerate Bía! More specifically, these roles will help improve Bía's sensor design and accuracy as we move through production.

💡 A few weeks ago we mentioned that our electronics failed some tests - and now we know why! The circuit responsible for managing button presses, at random, reduces the amount of power allowed into the device. We've made changes to this circuit to prevent this behaviour from happening in the future.

Questions & Answers ⚡

Our Beta group is currently fully with 500 participants to make Bía amazing, but don’t worry—if a spot opens up, we’ve got a waitlist ready, and we’d love to have you on it.

The chipset in Bía is capable of noise cancellation, however, we don't have this specific feature planned for launch. It's currently in our "Parking Lot" of features we plan on working on post-launch. Note: Since Bía uses bone-conduction audio, you're able to hear the neural music while using ear plugs.

Yes! We're putting in the finishing touches on a "How it Works" page that I'm beyond excited to share with you in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

The electronics inside Bía are encased in silicone and sit roughly 2-3cm away from your skin so we don't anticipate any allergy issues. I've made a note to add this to our QA process and double check with our manufacturers.

We've taken all your feedback and put it all together on our website as a dedicated FAQ.
