Welcome to Bía!
Your first night starts here.
Bía took 4 years to build. A dozen full-time team members. More than 50 contractors with unique skillsets. More than 10,000 backers. During that time we ran into thousands of problems and managed to solve all of them.
One mission drove it all: Give you a great night so you can enjoy a great day.
Now... it’s yours!
Let’s begin.

What should I do first?

- Open the user manual and scan the QR code to download the Bía Sleep App.
- Set up your account in the Bía Sleep App.
- Choose your strap size. We include 3 straps designed to fit 99% of head shapes. Start with Medium when you’re unsure.
- Attach the strap on both sides of the mask at its largest setting. You can fine-tune the fit once Bía is on your head.
- Complete onboarding in the app.
Where can I download the Bía Sleep App?
The Bía Sleep App is available on Android and iOS.
Scan this QR code or download from App StoreStarting your first session
Before you try sleeping with Bía, try it while sitting on a couch or a comfortable chair. Your mind will be racing with excitement, and we don’t want that to interfere with your sleep.
If you’re not used to wearing a sleep mask, take a couple minutes. Let your body adjust. Feel it settle.
Wearing Bía for the first time can be like breaking in a new pair of running shoes - it takes a few tries. Don't be discouraged if you can't wear it the full night on your first few tries. This feeling is normal and for some it can take up to 5 full nights sleep to get used to.
Once you’re ready, open the app, select the Nap Program, choose 15 minutes, press start.

I have trouble plugging Bía into the charger.
Support the mask while you plug it in by holding the white area of Bía, then insert the charging cable into the USB port.
Finding your Comfort
A great night starts with the right fit.
Think of Bía like a new ring and a new pair of running shoes at the same time. It may feel new at first. With a few nights of use, the fit starts to feel more natural.
How tight should Bía feel?
Tighten Bía enough to block out light. From there, choose the feel that helps you relax. A secure fit is important. Extra tension isn't.
I noticed slight indentations on my forehead. What should I do?
Slight marks can happen when Bía is worn too tight for a long period of time. They are not permanent and it's a common occurrence for sleep products such as CPAP sleep masks.
For your next session, loosen the strap a little.
To help the marks fade, splash cold water repeatedly on your forehead and massage the area in circles for 60 seconds.
I feel ear discomfort while wearing Bía. What should I do?
Ear discomfort can happen when the mask or strap creates new pressure around your ear.
This often eases after 3-4 nights as your ears adjust. In the meantime:
- Make sure your ear is not folded.
- Try sleeping on your back.
- Use a softer pillow.
I’m a side sleeper, and I feel neck discomfort. What should I do?
Bía adds material under your head. For side sleepers, this can lift your head and change the alignment of your neck, back, and head.
Try using the edge of your pillow so Bía has more room. You can also try a softer pillow to bring your body back into alignment.
I feel pressure on my face. What should I adjust?
Face pressure often comes from the angle of Bía.
Raise or lower the strap placement on the back of your head. As you move the strap, you should feel the pressure shift.Aim for even pressure across your cheeks and forehead. If you're still having issues, try loosening the fit.
I feel discomfort on my cheeks. What should I do?
A few small adjustments can help.
- Raise or lower the strap placement on the back of your head until pressure feels even across your cheeks and forehead.
- Adjust Bía so the sensors sit slightly above your brow.

- Insert the silicone layer.
- Align the buttons and USB port first.
- Align the sensor rail.
