For neurofeedback to work, we use functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) to measure brain activity. fNIRS allows us to get a deep understanding of sleep activity, even when you toss and turn, without making contact with the skin. It's the perfect choice for sleep.

Once measured, Bía Sleep plays back your brain activity using Spheric Sound. This technique is known to calm the Vagus nerve, which is responsible for adjusting heart rate, breathing rate, blood pressure, and mood; which helps to reduce stress by activating a calming sensation. The Bía Smart Sleep Mask is designed to function throughout the night without a Bluetooth or Wifi connection.
